Turning interest
into action
Established in 2020, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. ABHILASHA emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

Feedback from our supporters
The material of the product exceeded expectations and the stitching was very intricate and detailed, that gave the angrakaha a beautiful shape and it fit me perfectly! Can't be more thankful to Abhilasha for this beautiful piece of clothing with a personalised touch <3
Thank you abhilasha for this beautiful shirt. I love the design and the olive green colour suits me so well, it just fits me perfectly.
The patterns used in the clothing were really trendy, and can be used for styling in any age group. One thing that I really liked was the fabric that had been used, it was soft and comfortable which is something not many suppliers provide these days at affordable prices.

Abhilasha’s Board of Members also include Aarushi, Simrah and Priyasha’s mothers, all of whom have one thing in common - they're their daughter’s heroes.
The name of the NGO is derived from Aarushi’s mother - Abhilasha, who once owned a beautique and formed a camaraderie with several women who were the sole earners of their family. Abhilasha had always dreamt of doing something for these women, this dream eventually became her daughter’s dream as well. Priyasha’s mother, though being a survivor of child marriage and domestic violence, never gave up on her ambitions. Completing her graduation in her 30’s and becoming a financially independent single mother, she recognises the need for the upliftment of women. Lastly, Simrah’s mother, a sportswoman by heart was stripped away of her dream of a career in sports; suffering the loss of her father at a young age, she realises how difficult it is for women in this world. Aarushi along with her sister and her two best friends made Abhilasha a reality, inspired by their mothers’ stories.
These young women, hence aspire to make tangible change and help women secure an independent future.
